After our trip to Ephesus, we were told about the castle at Marmaris, so we got on a dolmus and explored Marmaris. After you have walked passed the shops and along the marina, you have to stumble across the original paths that take you up to the castle. Unfortunately, after we had followed a group of tourists (it is the easiest way to find your destination!), we got to the castle just in time for the doors to be closed! How were we to know that it closes for lunch, so we pottered around, came across a really scary man who in another life could have been a lepricorn. Then we came back. The castle has undergone a lot of restoration, with artifacts displayed throughout. It was definately worth the trip, but it was another really hot day so we headed back to the comfort of the airconditioner hotel room!365
This is my first blog and it is my attempt to take more notice of the world around me. I plan to take a photo a day for 356 days, hopefully it will show that there are interesting things happening around me, and that my life isn't too dull!
Wish me luck.
Wish me luck.
