Well, disaster has struck! Having been on holiday in Turkey for two weeks, we came home and tried to upload the pictures from the memory card, and you've guessed it, nothing, just one of those stomach turning error messages. Anyway, we took it to a specialist who said they had a programme that could sort out the formatting (hoorah). But alas four days later the bad news came back, the memory card was damaged, and no they couldn't retrieve the pictures. I was devastated as these were all of the pictures from the first few days of being away. Anyway, now that i have come to terms with the loss of the precious photos i have decided to carry on with my blog and try to cobble together some photos taken by my daughter, and other sources up to when we began using the other memory card, which, thankfully, is not damaged.
Sooooooo, the picture for today would have been a beautiful blue and pink evening sky as this was the lastnight we were going to spend at home before flying off to a warmer climate, for two whole weeks.
