This is my first blog and it is my attempt to take more notice of the world around me. I plan to take a photo a day for 356 days, hopefully it will show that there are interesting things happening around me, and that my life isn't too dull!

Toadstools always get the imagination going, the fairy tales i read as a child clearly had an impact on the way my mind works. There is something magical about toadstools and after taking this photo i couldn't help but wonder where Absalom was.
Ah love it - whenever I go walking and see toadstalls I always smile to myself thinking it must've been where the fairies where partying the night before ☺
