This is the library at Ephesus. It is apparently one of the oldest library's in the world. Whether this is true or not, our day out at Ephesus was fantastic. We had a 6.20am start as it was a 31/2 hour journey to get there, so our guide, Yusuf, gave the coach a georgaphy/history lesson. He was very good and tried very had to get a sleepy bunch of Brits to be interested, but at least he kept our attention and we did learn a bit on the trip even before getting to Ephesus.Ephesus, is the most amazing Roman ruin, apparently it was relocated four times before it remained where it is today. Much of the site is still being excavated, but there is still alot to see. Opposite the library was the brothel, it is thought that the men would say they were going to the library, but actually visit the brothel. There is a so much to see, and i was like a kid in a toy shop, apparently a number of stars have performed at the ampitheatre here without the need for speakers as the accustics are so good, there is no need for them. I took so many photos, i even ran to the top of the ampitheatre to take some photos as i couldn't go there and miss the opportunity, but these are never to be seen because of the problematic memory card, but enough said.
