I bought this cheap and cheerful propogator (or propaganda, as i keep calling it!) so that i could start growing some plants for the garden, so far i have planted seeds for, ox-eye daisies (tall daisies), cosmos and poppies (from a friend's garden), hopefully i will be successful, but only time will tell.

It's that time again. Each time i have completed one of these i have lived in a different house, this time though might be the first of many times i complete it while living here.

This is a tree root and is approximately 5 foot high. Part of it has grown through the wall. It looks more like an alien than part of a tree!

A while ago i decided that it was time to get organised. Once upon a time i was, but over the years this has gone out of the window, so when i saw this notebook online (called owls in a tree, how appropriate) i felt really inspired. As it was a well known place to buy notebooks, cards etc (ok it was Paperchase) i thought instead of paying the postage i would go to the shop and buy it directly, unfortunately when i did go, there was none to be seen, and even worse when i went back online, it had vanished!! Not one to give up hope i thought i would keep trying, and thankfully it came into the store, i didn't hesitate this time and bought it staright away. Now to find a pen so that i can write in it!

Everywhere you walk at the moment trees are blossoming, this tree with the white blossom is on my way as i walk into town, i know it won't last very long, but it is nice to enjoy it while it is.

A number of the plants in the garden are flowering a month earlier this year compared to last year, including this forsythia. I'm not a big fan of yellow flowers, but i am coming round to them as they really brighten up a garden that has looked very sorry for itself over the winter.

I spotted a different bird in the garden today. I don't know what it is yet, but i am sure that it is quite a commonly seen bird in the area.

I came across this book and before reading the synopsis i had decide to buy it, the cover is just fantastic, then when i saw the price there was no hesitation, a hardback book for 1p! The p&p was £2.50ish, so even with that it was a bargain!!
